This is how it works:
- After calling up the app, you have the options to play against the computer, against a friend on the same device or via Bloetooth.
- If you play against the computer, you can choose between 6 difficulty levels ranging from “Kiddie” to “INSANE!”.
- You then have the option to play with one or two pucks – two pucks means more action, naturally.
- The game play is very smooth and realistic.
- You can publish your score to OpenFeint (a network for gaming highscores)
What I like about Air Hockey:
- You can play it with two players on one device
- Very smooth and realistic gameplay
What I don’t like so much:
- I’d like to see more design options (like a glow-in-the-dark mode)
- The app could use some more action – like a cheering crowd with each goal.
Air Hockey is a fun app to fill a bit of waiting time with a friend – but it’s definitely a great app to show off your phone with
