Taking fotos is most fun if there s a special situation to be captured. Let it be your 2-year-old toddler trying to climb a chair or a nice sundown. Using Comic Touch you can make your photos come alive by adding a comic touch with balloons. That definitely helps to explain some photos!

My wife really called me and started to interrogate me on our sons health condition. Since nothing really happened – even my son did not fell out of the swing – this clearly demonstrates the effect of adding the Comic Touch to your photos! And who of us doesn’t like a good comic?
This is how it works:
- Starting Comic Touch automatically opens your photo album on my iPod Touch.
- I now select a funny photo of my boy where he overplayed a bit – and a first balloon appears.
- I can choose from balloons for speech, thoughts, whispers and exclaims.
- In this case I clearly need an exclaim – so I delete the speech ballon by pressing an holding for a couple of seconds and then press the x.
- Now I add the exclaim balloon and double-click it to enter my text. I choose the extra large size – and that’s how it looks like!
- Now I want to have the tail of the ballon where I expect the face of my son to be – and press and hold it and move it to the right position.
- Ok – so now I send this to my wife to assure her that everything is fine when the two boys have fun at the playground. I could also have added some effects here but I think the photo speaks for itself.
- Sending the photo via mail I can decide upon the size of the file and I can preconfigure some email addresses to which I lie to send those captures regularly.
- That’s it – so wait for my wife to call me!
What I like about Comic Touch:
- Makes photos vivid
- Helps to add emotions to memories
What I don’t like so much:
- Usability could be improved; e.g. to save a photo you have to click “back”
