Apps are small pieces of software, something thousands of companies base their businesses on. Many of those companies have become giant corporations, like Microsoft, Oracle etc.. Behind every software there’s an idea, written on some coaster by some more or less crazy mind. The ideas which meet the users’ expectations and add decent benefit make it to millions or billions of desktop computers, notebooks, mobile phones, games consoles, tablets, cameras, musicplayers or any other computer gadget. Until June, 29, 2007 we talked about software. With the birth of Apple’s iPhone things started to change. Today’s software is the app.

On appstory.tv we tell stories of and behind apps. We create TV content for the Internet which most people call WebTV. This content we could also show on TV, since the quality is very high. But we mostly show it on the Web because we strongly believe in high-quality Web-TV content. On appstory.tv you can watch app reviews. This is our homework. You can watch short interviews with interesting people in the App Economy. And when time allows, we show you somewhat extended background talks with app developers, with companies using apps for their businesses and with interesting people from the tech industry.

appstory.tv is your videoguide on smartphone apps. We screen and review very good (and some not so good) apps. Having watched our short videos, everybody should know whether to love an app or trash it. We can assure you – within those 1xx,000 apps there are some Must-Haves!

ARE ALL 1xx,000 APPS ON APPSTORY.TV?
Sure. Erm… actually, no! Since our corporate human department consists of four (= 4) people – though – we invented the brand new(!) strategy to focus on the best (and the worst) apps we are aware of. Side effect: Each review gains in value for the respective app. If it is good.

WHICH APPS MAKE IT TO APPSTORY.TV?
Very good apps. And very bad ones. So if you are a developer and want your app being rated by appstory.tv – think twice before applying!
